What is a classic set of eyelash extensions?

Classic lashes are sets applied with just one lash at a time for each natural lash. The ratio is 1:1, which is also the original method of lash extension application. But while it is the first technique, it is still highly relevant and widely used

 

How long do eyelash extensions last?

Application is pricey and does take some time—anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the desired volume—but, with proper care, lash extensions should last for up to 3 to 5 weeks. Infill is between 2 to 3 weeks, no more than 20 days. Please note when you book for infill (2 to 3 weeks, no more than 20 days) make sure there are 40% remaining lashes, or it's considered a new set

 

How many lashes do you need for a classic set?

A typical full set of Classic lashes can vary from having 40 extensions up to 150 extensions per eye depending on the clients desired look and of course how many natural healthy lashes they have to begin with!

Before My Appointment

  • Shower prior to your appointment

    Shower before your appointment. Avoid contact with water or steam for the first 48 hours to allow the bond between the semi-permanent lashes and your natural lashes to set properly.

  • Avoid Caffeine or Stimulants

    Caffeine and stimulants may put you in an agitated state, preventing you from becoming still and relaxed during your appointment. Refrain from consuming caffeine and stimulants before your appointment.

  • Remove All Eye Makeup

    Avoid wearing eye makeup to your eyelash appointment. Remove mascara, eyeliner, and other eye makeup before- hand. Although the lash stylist will have eye cleanser on hand, removing eye makeup can be time-consuming and take away from your lash extension application time. Also, avoid curling your lashes ─come with your lashes in their natural state.

What's the Difference Between Classic Lashes and Volume Lashes?

Classic Lashes:
Classic lashes provide a more natural look, where a single extension (0.15mm or 0.20mm) is applied to each natural lash. A full set typically includes around 90 to 120 extensions, depending on the client’s natural lashes.

Volume Lashes:
Volume lashes are designed for a fuller appearance. They involve applying multiple lightweight extensions (0.07mm or 0.10mm) to each natural lash, often referred to as 3D, 4D, 5D, or 6D, based on the number of extensions used. A full set usually contains 200 to 300 extensions, again depending on the client’s natural lashes.

Are volume lashes heavy?

Yes, volume lashes can feel heavier than classic lashes. If you notice any weight on your natural lashes, it’s a normal aspect of the volume set.
